Misleading page about the Portuguese multi-sports clubs such as Benfica
[edit]The main Portuguese clubs such as Benfica, Sporting, Porto and many others are not just football (soccer) clubs. They are multi-sports clubs with many diverse sports. Benfica has had important sports teams such as team handball, rugby, cycling, track and field, basketball, voleyball and (traditional) roller hockey, also known as rink hockey, a form of hockey that is very traditional in Portugal. Presenting this article about Benfica as a football (only) club is misleading. 109.49.164.143 (talk) 08:23, 9 January 2025 (UTC)
- Benfica is mainly known for its football team, this is a fact. The article is about the football team, and there's no need to change it. SLBedit (talk) 15:42, 12 January 2025 (UTC)
- If it is about football the article should have as a title Sport Lisboa e Benfica, football department, or football teams. Benfica is NOT a football club. It is a sports club. There is even a bicycle wheel in its logo because it had an important cycling team when it was founded. It is the same with other clubs such as Porto, Sporting, Belenenses, Oliveirense, the Spanish Real Madrid and Barcelona, etc. They are all multi-sports clubs. If it is only football what Benfica is known for, it is because of the international football lobby bribing the international media in order to make football the only visible sport disregarding people's choices and local peculiarities. 83.240.193.10 (talk) 00:45, 13 January 2025 (UTC)

Want to change the honours section to a table that looks about the same as other clubs pages on this website (Real Madrid, Man Utd). Want to do this to polish the page and to create some linearity. Fredrikovic (talk) 19:52, 10 February 2025 (UTC)
Not done for now: Please provide the specific changes you want to be made in an 'x' to 'y' format. Aston305 (talk) 20:27, 10 February 2025 (UTC)
